Your rights
- To be treated with dignity, respect, and fairness.
- To receive support in a safe way and to an appropriate standard.
- To make choices about supports, routines, and goals.
- To have your privacy and personal information protected.
- To communicate your views freely and be listened to.
- To involve family, carers, advocates, or support people if you choose.
- To receive services that respect your culture, values, identity, and beliefs.
- To ask questions, provide feedback, and make complaints without fear of unfair treatment.
Your responsibilities
- Share information that helps us support you safely and effectively.
- Tell us if your circumstances change or if an appointment needs to be rescheduled.
- Treat staff and others respectfully and safely.
- Provide feedback so we can improve services.
- Let us know as early as possible if services are no longer required.
Inclusion and advocacy
- We deliver care that respects personal, cultural, spiritual, and community identity.
- We support participants to involve advocates and support people of their choosing.
- If you need help finding an independent advocate, we can point you to services.
Complaints
You have the right to complain and be heard
You can raise concerns safely, and we will take your feedback seriously and respond respectfully.
Making a complaint with us

- If needed, we can help you put your complaint in writing.
- Your information is handled confidentially where possible.
- Anonymous complaints are accepted, but follow-up may be limited.
